Issue

Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That’s one student every 26 seconds – or 7,000 each day.

Approach

No two schools- or students- are the same. Find Your Grind Foundation works directly with organizations to develop innovative learning solutions and build inspiring spaces where students feel elevated and excited to learn. When students want to be in their classrooms and feel engaged, dropout rates decrease, students begin to thrive, and a lifelong trajectory of success starts to unfold.

Issue

74 percent of young people feel their schools fail to fully prepare them for the professional world.

Approach

FYG partners with outside organizations to bring students to bring them into real-life experiences. Studies prove that passive learning vs. active learning can bring dramatic increases to student outcomes after high school.

Issue

Learning and development suffers when students fear for their safety and mental health.

Approach

FYG supports the build-out of healthy recreational spaces in communities of need that ultimately benefit neighborhoods and create intentional opportunities for community and collaboration.
