Issue

Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That’s one student every 26 seconds – or 7,000 each day.

Approach

No two schools – or students – are the same. Find Your Grind Foundation works directly with schools to help create environments reflective of their unique circumstances where students feel inspired and excited to learn. When students want to be in their classrooms, dropout rates decrease, students begin to thrive and a lifelong trajectory of success starts to unfold.

Issue

About half of the students are not “hopeful” about the future.  While half of the students possess numerous ideas and abundant energy for the future the other half are stuck or discouraged, lacking the ideas and energy they need to navigate problems and reach goals.

Approach

Find Your Grind Foundation partners with innovative nonprofits and schools whose missions enable students to learn, inspire and become the entrepreneurs and innovators of the future.

Issue

74 percent of young people feel their schools fail to fully prepare them for the professional world.

Approach

The Find Your Grind Foundation believes young people learn best by understanding themselves first, advocating for their own goals and futures, and learning how to accomplish their goals. Find Your Grind Foundation partners with schools by providing resources and tools to enable self discovery and career exploration.
